Copper Pot Pinot Noir 2019
Another gateway drug to Pinot Noir
John Seccombe is a white wine savant, and has been reluctant to really *own* this Copper Pot Pinot Noir as part of his internationally lauded Thorne & Daughters range of white wines.
But whether he is proud of it or not, I think it is the most epic gateway drug to people trying to wean themselves off heavy reds, or simply to get their head around Pinot Noir. This guy manages to be a little more generous of fruit than most PNs, without losing its elegance.
85% Bot River fruit, with a few splashes from Elgin and some organically farmed parcels in Bottelary hills.
