One of South Africa’s best value viogniers. Pitted against some of the best in the country, it was only bettered by wines double and triple the price.
Don’t be fooled by the seemingly anaemic appearance. This a beautifully aromatic fruity wine, balanced & elegant.
There is a superbly open nose of peaches, apricot, honeysuckle & litchi upfront.
The palate carries light soda-like complications to add intrigue to the explosive stone fruit nose.

The Wine Farm for Teetotallers

As hard as it is to believe, there are some perfectly rational individuals who choose NOT to imbibe the precious nectar of the vine that we have come to know, love, & develop a low level dependency on. These people groups include recovering alcoholics, olympic athletes, and my wife.
If you are married to/dating/training such an individual, never fear. Babylonstoren is the place for you. No matter how much your partner hates wine, they will struggle to hate the mind-blowingly elegant tasting centre, the other-worldy hanging gardens, and Alice-in-Wonderland-esque secret pathways, giant bird nests, and cactus maizes.

Jono Le Feuvre is not a bean counter. He is a bean roaster. Bean roasters carry far more street cred & get to speak at bizarre niche gatherings of enquiring-but-unhinged-minds. They also usually have addictive tendencies. When he is not roasting beans he is pulling corks. Or deftly removing screwcap enclosures. But you can read more about him here.
