🗺 The Swartland didn’t start a revolution for nothing. The rugged terrain, and harsh conditions seem to attract people who are willing to do what it takes to survive. And this often means trying things that no one else has bothered to do. Which may, in part, explain the fascinating mix of cultivars grown across the estate.

🍇 From Grenache Blanc and Marsanne to Verdelho, Clairette Blanche, Roussanne, Colombar and Viura, these guys have an absolute treasure trove of white cultivars just begging to be bottled as single cultivar wines. This Marsanne (technically a WO Voor-Paardeberg) is actually a discontinued bottling (the Marsanne fruit now all goes into their Reserve White), but I begged them to keep us aside an allocation, so that I could share it all with you before it disappears forever!
