TASTING NOTES
👄 The palate is med-light in weight, couching vibrant juicy oranges, followed by sweeter stone fruit, lime pith towards the aft, and a lingering sweeter pineapple element right on the tail.
🔬Wine of origin Stellenbosch (even though the label says otherwise). 100% Chardonnay.
Grapes harvested by hand in small baskets at 22 to 23.5°C. The yield was 6 tons per hectare. About 35% of the grapes were fermented in tank and the other 70% fermented in small 225l French oak barrels. All fruit parcels are fermented with LaForte X16. The wine is left on its lees in barrels for 10 months. The components are blended just prior to bottling.
