Who is Elemental Bob?

Elemental Bob winemaker Craig Sheard has only been making wines for about 15 years, his approach to “minimal intervention” winemaking and commitment to “wines of place” have always had an air of the clairvoyant about them. As one of the original South African “Young Guns” winemakers (back in 2011), the influence that he has had on his peers, and emerging winemakers is legendary. This white blend consists of 34% Viognier , 29% Chenin Blanc, 20% Verdelho & 17% Semillon (Hemel-en-Aarde). Native yeasts. Some skin contact. 10 months in old French oak.
