#141 Rascallion 33 1/3 RPM white blend 2017

A negotiant is someone who doesn’t grow grapes, but rather buys grapes (or sometimes even finished wine) from producers, and then bottles it and sells it under different labels.

This little number is produced by the hugely experienced Ross Sleet, who works with award-winning winemaker Rianie Strydom (of Strydom wines).

This particular wine is a white blend made from Piekenierskloof fruit. Piekenierskloof is a very hip little ward in the Swartland and it’s made up of Chenin, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Viognier… and even some Verdelho. So…almost all of my favourite grapes at the moment. In one cheeky little bottle.
