There is a weird notion being reinforced by the wine fashion police that says that when it comes to red wine, being “light-bodied” is in herently a virtue. This is not true.

If a wine is going to be light-bodied, it had better delivery in a whole number of other categories. Like aromatics, clarity, length, evolution… THIS is a supremely aromatic example of what Cinsault should be all about. Boasting all of the above.
