This impressively dynamic Cinsaut is made with Stellenbosch fruit and vinified by Creation winemaker Gerhard Smith. Gerhard has taken Creation’s Pinot Noir range to a truly world standard, so it’s not surprise that his on label, Die Kat se Snor (The Cat’s Moustache) would showcase pure class when it comes to its lighter reds.

This cinsaut has a gargantuan nose with sweet red toffee laced over fresh cut apple, pomegranate, hint of fennel, thyme and moist earth. The body is positively vibrating with energy, and manages to achieve both texture and laser-like brightness, without being green. Quality effort. More Tilda Swinton than Melissa McCarthy.
